What is Ecollective?

Our project, Ecollective is an art gallery website dedicated to issues surrounding climate change. Currently, the gallery has four categories: publicity, consumerism, urban, and society. It is a platform where eco-artists can showcase their multidisciplinary works and provide an artist statement. The gallery also encourages the audience to contribute to a greener world by exploring the additional resources that the gallery has provided.

The website offers a digital way of comprehending and addressing climate change. Its collective impact seeks to educate, inform, and encourage varying individual messages surrounding the complex topic of climate change. By harnessing every artist’s applied creativity and unique background, the website fosters a space to recognize many important sides of climate change that may often go unrecognized with unaided vision. This collective work unpeels the layers of the Anthropocene and showcases each artist’s unique and creative works.
