Morning Trash. Nick Bui (2023, Photograph)

This photo shows an early morning before the garbage truck has come to collect the trash from the homes. Across the world, landfills are a large contributor to climate change, as well as several other problems such as water pollution, deforestation, and hazardous gas productions. As the climate change movement continues to gain recognition, people are becoming more aware of their own carbon footprint. One thing that many people are doing is beginning to recycle and compost more. By keeping more things out of the trash, people are reducing the amount of waste being sent to landfills. This photo captures this change in society, while also informing people of ways to bring change.
