How can art drive change?

All throughout the world, there are so many different issues happening which many people don’t know about. The issues that are trendy, end up getting the most global attention. More attention means that change is more likely to happen. When society applies pressure on governments and people in power, this can spark a social movement, pushing for activism and change in our world. Art drives these changes by publicizing these issues, making people more aware of current events that are happening. Photojournalism and documentaries are great examples of how art can be used to motivate positive change.
