"140 Artists’ Ideas for Planet Earth" edited by Hans Ulrich Obrist and Kostas Stasinopoulos

Full description
In this book, the authors combine a multitude of works, from little poems to recipes and doodles, by different artists that fit under the theme of the title of the book. It exemplifies ways complicated thoughts and feelings can be communicated through fine art. It also demonstrates how utilizing art does not always have to mean creating masterful paintings and photographs. Even the smallest or silliest of doodles can be so important for expressing feelings and thoughts toward the environment. Art is for everyone and no matter how someone chooses to express their emotions or connect to the world, it is important for them to have representation. These entries show how there is no right or wrong way to express feelings toward the planet and open up the climate conversation to people who may not feel comfortable talking about climate in a scientific way.
