From the Ground Up: Building a Library Wellness Program
Full description
Creating strong partnerships and cohesive wellness programming in an institution of any size can be a challenge, requiring thoughtful strategy, sustained effort, and effective communication across departments and locations. This presentation will showcase how a large, multicampus research library developed wellness programming and created dedicated wellness spaces to support students in adopting positive wellness behaviors. It will also show how, through shared leadership, aligning with university-wide goals, leveraging campus connections, and developing a recognizable “brand”, academic libraries can find success in supporting students throughout their wellness journey.
