Lapilli del Parco Archeologico di Ercolano: Herculaneum 3D SCAN - il Parco

"The virtual tours of the Lapilli are enriched with new exciting experiences featuring clouds of high-density 3D points acquired through 3D laser scanning and photogrammetric drone footage! Thanks to the 'Herculaneum 3D SCAN' project, in collaboration with the Herculaneum Conservation Project supported by the Packard Humanities Institute (PHI), visitors and experts will be able to virtually explore the domus of the ancient city, as well as measure distances, surfaces, volumes, and export data in the most common formats. A shared experiment to discover with you and scholars the new ways of virtual enjoyment and the potential as a working tool for the sector."
