Qualitative GIS and ESRI Story Maps

Resource added

Full description

Geographic Information Science (GIS) is often perceived as a purely quantitative science by both academics and the public. However, researchers are increasing utilizing qualitative methods for GIS analysis. This presentation demonstrates the unique value of qualitative GIS and highlights Story Maps, a series of open-source, multimedia map templates provided by ESRI that use GIS as a story-telling mechanism.
