Full Description

The Pacific Northwest Natives Geodatabase is a small, ongoing project conducted by the GIS Graduate Staff Assistant at the University of Washington Libraries. The geodatabase is intended to be an outward-facing collection of geospatial data on Native communities and scholarship that is to be the largest collection of its kind at any institution. The dream vision is for a public platform that serves Native communities, Indigenous scholarship, tribal organizations, and public researchers in an effort to validate and decolonize data on Native Peoples.
