Circle 8 Analysis

This website gives a base understanding of the goings on in each sub category of the Eight Circle of Hell in the eyes of Dante. They go into detail on the main character in each Canto and describe why they are believed to be who Dante is referring to. The website as a whole references the entire Divine comedy but I focused solely on the portion about the 19th Canto in the Inferno. The source of the information is through the University of Texas at Austin but the author seems to be unknown.
