Athena
Full description
This piece is a poem that reflects the role Athena plays in controlling warriors and also describes her role as a "mistress" in war, a common theme for Athena. The poem was written on January 1st, 2018 by s.g.t. grasmuck, an officer in the United States military. This is a very interesting interpretation of Athena, in particular because though Athena is an ancient goddess of war, this interpretation comes from an individual embroiled in modern day war, offering a unique perspective on the goddess.
