This sculpture looks like Apollo and Daphne are in an intimate embrace, but Daphne is escaping from Apollo's advances.

Full description

Italian artist Gian Lorenzo Bernini created the life-size sculpture of Apollo and Daphne between 1622 and 1625. This sculpture depicts the nymph Daphne turning into a laurel tree to escape Apollo's advances.
