Persephone's Abduction: The Amphipolis Mosaic

Resource added
Hermes is on the far left leading the chariot aside, with Hades and Persephone astride a chariot pulled by two white horses. Hades holds onto persephone who is to the right of him in the chariot, and she is stretching a hand out to someone we do not see in the mosaic, likely her mother.
This floor mosaic depicts Persephone being abducted by Hades who drives the chariot, accompanied by Hermes leading it. Demeter is left behind to lament her daughter's fate. It was found in the second chamber of Kasta's tomb, Amfipoli Greece and is a hellenic depiction of the abduction from the 4th century.
