Full description

We choose a terracotta that depicts the reunion of Helen of Troy and her husband Menelaus after the Trojan War. Helen was the catalyst for the war, as she left/was taken from her husband to be with Paris from Troy. This terracotta shows the heated reunion between the married couple, along with Aphrodite and Eros. Helen seems to be attempting to flee from her husband as he is attempting to attack her, angry for her unfaithfulness.
