Full description

An ancient Greek vase painting by Codrus Painter in 430 B.C. This painting depicts Hades lying on a bed of the underworld and Persephone sitting by it. Hades holds a plate, which is horn of plenty, and Persephone has a pomegranate seed in her hand given by Hades.
