Perseus with the Head of Medusa is a statue by Benvenuto Cellini that is currently on display in Florence, Italy. It can be seen in this beautiful city in the piazza della Signoria. It resembles Perseus holding Medusa's head after he beheaded her. He then used the head to turn the king into stone.

This image is a statue of Perseus holding Medusa's head after he beheaded her. The statue was created in 1554. It was commissioned by Cosimo 1 after he became the Duke of Florence.
