The painting is about an eagle that was grabbing a boy using its claws. THe eagle is dark brown and the boy is very young. There is also a dog on the ground. A skinny tree is by a short pile of wood that were by the dog that were on the ground. There were mountains in the background. The main color theme of the artwork is light gree.

Ganymede Abducted by the Eagle was created by Antonio da Correggio in 1531-1532. Medium: Oil on canvas. Dimensions: 163.5 cm × 70.5 cm (64.4 in × 27.8 in). Ganymede Abducted by the Eagle is about Zeus turning into an eagle and abducting Ganymede. The reason why Zeus abducted Ganymede was his great beauty. And then, Zeus took him to Olympus. Ganymede later became Zeus' cupbearer. In Greek legend, Ganymede as the son of Tros, and king of Troy.
