image is a poster of the film Mamula. On the top, three people (an old man, a young woman, and a young man) loom, ghostly, over a dark island. They are carrying flashlights and look terrified and disheveled. On the bottom, under the ocean line, a beautiful woman peers eerily over the title of the film in big stone letters, "Nymph." Color scheme is gray-black-dark blues.

This American-Serbian film originally released under the title “Mamula,” then the title “Nymph,” before settling on the commercial title “Killer Mermaid,” tells the story of Kelly (Kristina Klebe) and Lucy (Natalie Burn), two American tourists visiting their college friend and his fiancé (Slobodan Stefanovic and Sofija Rajovic) on the Mediterranean coast. The group of friends decide to spend a day visiting Mamula, an abandoned island in the Adriatic Sea, to explore the ruins of a former military fortress used by Mussolini’s forces during the second world war as a concentration camp. Unbeknownst to them, a dangerous sea creature named Scylla (Zorana Kostic Obradovic and Mina Sablic) resides in the island’s subterranean tunnels, served and fed by a dangerous guardian (Miodrag Krstovic) who will not let them leave Mamula alive.
