In the age of heroism and pride, Patroclus provides an intimate view of Achilles as he struggles to fulfill a prophecy that can deem him glorious.
Full description
As a rework of a famed story of the Iliad, The Song Of Achilles displays the beauty and tragedy of Achilles through the perspective of his lover, Patroclus. From the moment they met to the end of the slaughter resulting from the Trojan War, we witness the trials and tribulations of love that unveils a different perspective from its original counterpart, yet leaves the themes of pride and violence untouched. With so much at stake, Patroclus details the complex decision of Achilles to choose between a meaningless long life or the glory of dying.
