Date: c. 380–365 BCE The coins were minted by Olympia and serve as a coinage at the sanctuary for Zeus and Hera. The detailed and elegant depiction of Hera's head represents feminine and divine characteristics. Alt description: Ancient Greek silver stater from Olympia minted at the Temple of Hera circa 421 BCE. The front side of the coin showcases a profile of Hera adorned with a crown inscribed with "of the Eleains" . The other side displays an eagle.
