Full description
This drawing shows Odysseus and Penelope's last reunion at the end of The Odyssey, following Odysseus' return to Ithaca and his victory over the suitors. The piece, which was created in 1929, depicts the emotional moment when Penelope, after years apart, finally recognizes her husband and they hug.
