Full description
Purpose
- Get to know each other & our experience
Facilitation Instructions
- Facilitator begins with a description of the activity and an example. Throughout the instructions, be sure to break down how to use the tools. “Now we’re all going to introduce ourselves so we can start to get to know each other.”
- Take a few moments to make a trading card (think Pokemon, Magic the Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!) to represent yourself in box 1
- Add a photo or draw a symbol represents you in box 2.
- Include your pronouns, if you choose, and a short description (prompt) in box 3
- After, we will each take two-three minutes to describe our trading cards and answer questions the rest of us may have
- The goal is to move outward from the broad/general to specific, individual aspects of their experience.
Products Generated
- A trading card that can be used as facilitation for an intro activity: with a person’s name, pronouns, and some short information.
