Full description

Purpose

  • Set a calming space at the beginning of the meeting
  • Practice mindfulness before jumping into the work.

Facilitation Instructions

  • Start with three minutes of guided contemplation or body scan.
  • Have everyone write down what is stressing them out.
  • When everyone finishes writing, everyone should ball up their stresses and throw them against the wall!
  • To go a step further, tell them to rip up their stresses and put all the scraps together in a bowl on the table or recycle them.
