  1. Elden Ring’s Shardbearers and their connections to Dante’s Inferno

Elden Ring’s Shardbearers and their connections to Dante’s Inferno

By JB Maeng

Opening cutscene depicting the demigods in Elden ring, including every shardbearer.Elden Ring, (2022). FromSoftware Inc : Japan, Bandai Namco Entertainment

Each demigod who holds a part of the elden ring  represents a specific sin from the seven deadly sins, blah blah more about how each demigod specifically represents a certain sin, what they want to do and their importance to worldbuilding, blah blah blah, more about how the world of elden ring itself as a player character is mostly just as an avatar guided by a greater being (God in Dante’s case, with virgil (at least for the first part) as a guide and Marika for the player character, with Melina as a guide), blah blah blah, more about various christian and mythological influences on individual characters, blah blah blah, Mohg things.
