The library is on the land of the Puyallup people. We recognize the Puyallup Tribe and its elders past and present for their ongoing efforts to sustain tribal sovereignty, preserve their culture, and care for this place.

Research Help

M-W 10-4 and TH 11-4  | TLB 1
(24/7 online!)

What is Research Help?  A unit within the Library that empowers students, faculty and staff with their start-to-finish research needs: formulating research topics, keywords, databases, and more!

We work with you to search SMARTER, not harder. Stop by the desk on TLB 2, or work with library staff online 24/7 via chat.

Library Tech

M-F 10-5 | SNO 1

The UW Tacoma Library equipment collection gives students, staff, and faculty access to equipment to be used on-campus or at home. Bring your Husky Card to check out equipment. Equipment should be returned in person to the desk, not in a book drop . Please do not leave library equipment unattended in public spaces.

Real Lit[erature]

Online

Real Lit[erature] is breaking down barriers to discuss social justice in the community. Created by members of the UW Tacoma Library and the Center for Equity and Inclusion (CEI), Real Lit intends to demonstrate the value of developing community alliances through written narrative.

Makerspace

M-F 10-5 | SNO 1

The UWT Library makerspace  is a high-and-low-tech environment that features 3-D printers, a laser cutter, art and design tools such as advanced sewing machines, small tools and workspace for  interactive electronic objects work and IOT device development.

The makerspace provides UW students, staff, and faculty with the tools and resources to build and prototype their next great idea! Come to the makerspace and make the most of a social, multidisciplinary and collaborative environment that connects you with UW's creative community.
