Art and Climate Change: Growing out of the Establishment
Courtyard Exhibition hosted by Our Playground
by Rosaline DouMegan Lam
Growing out of Establishment is an exhibition held in the courtyard space of the University of Washington Art Building. The project initiators, Rosaline Dou and Megan Lam, use the courtyard as a poignant metaphor for urban nature and make the case that we humans are incomplete without it. Through a physical and conceptual roadmap, the exhibition guides the viewer on a shared journey to unpack the autoethnographic narrative of climate change and its impact on existing institutions.
