Manifold Key Concepts for Accessibility
This short guide is intended to help UW instructors, students, and staff create more accessible books using the UW Libraries' Manifold publishing platform.
It covers seven key concepts for accessibility: heading structure, meaningful link text, color contrast, captions, transcripts, alt text for images, and the testing of different document types.
For any Manifold project that you create, these are accessibility concepts you'll want to focus on.
This guide is a work in progress and suggestions are welcome. If you have suggestions, you can contact Elliott Stevens (English Studies & Research Commons Librarian) at res22@uw.edu
