Arum #2
Dragon Arum (Arum dracunculus), inscribed drakontia mikra in De materia medica. This manuscript was written and illuminated in Constantinople in the mid-10th century and then in the 15th century an Arabic-speaking owner of the text added inscriptions in Arabic and genitalia to some animals illustrated within. The description of the arum is primarily medical in nature.
