Athena and her Various Names

This project concentrates on Athena’s multifaceted character, the various forms she embodies, and the power that she holds through all her forms. Her various tales, legends, and the symbology around her intertwine and synthesize to form an image of Athena. This image and its qualities determine the nature of her domain that suggests the Goddess remains an incongruous paradox for she can be a goddess of war and at the same time uphold a throne of motherhood and she can be a harbinger of death and also the beginning of fertility. The goddess can change her forms and the names of her forms making her a multifaceted, timeless being who’s various sides can have various interpretations depending on the contemporary situation.
